BELLADRUM TARTAN HEART FESTIVAL JULY NEWSLETTER

COP A LOAD OF THIS...

Now that Supersize 'T' and Glasto are over, it's time to reappraise 'small is beautiful' and enjoy a festie which thrives on a more human scale. Added to this year's amazing music at Belladrum will be a huge increase in street theatre and other entertainments. No airfields - just hay fields, and a spectacular view of Strathglass. And whoa! You might even bump into the same person twice in a weekend. So mellow and friendly is Belladrum , it feels more like a party than a rock festival. Bring your friends, come and join the family. WEEKEND AND DAY TICKETS ARE STILL AVAILABLE from www.tartanheartfestival.co.uk or 24 hr hotline 0871 220 0260 and other outlets (see web site for details). And if you're thinking of wearing anything you're not COMPLETELY sure of - don't. The Fashion Police (see above) will be bringing law suits.

BORING BUT IMPORTANT

1. Are you camping and/or bringing 12 & unders? If so, you need passes. If you haven't got them, send us an e-mail at admin@tartanheartfestival.co.uk.To hire a 6-person tipi (£350 for the weekend), call Greg on 07818 420041
2. Hope for sun, but prepare for rain - please pack adequate wet weather gear and check your camping gear is waterproof, especially if you're bringing children. If enough people bring enough wellies, it won't rain?
3. And pack the sun cream. Yep! We know - but it might happen (it did last year), and we don't want you cookin'.
4. Please stay within the festival areas and respect our neighbours' privacy

BELLA GROWS A FRINGE

Fringe acts include: EXIST, MOHAIR, EWAN MACFARLANE, SPINDRIFT, ANDY GUNN ALL STARS, STORM PETRELS, HOTLICKS COOKIES, FINISTON, N'FALY KOUYATE, WADADA, JO HAMILTON, ATTIC LIGHTS, SHIPCOTE, GYPSY DAVE SMITH, APHRODISIACS, ANDY WHITE BAND, KARL BROADIE BAND and more. SILENT DANCE TENT - B.Y.O. iPOD

It's 11.00 PM. The loud stuff has had to stop but YOU STILL NEED MUSIC AND DANCING. Well, load up that iPod and mosey on down to the SSSSSSSILENT DANCE TENT where the lights are flickering and you can move to your groove. And so what if everyone else is dancing to a different tune? It's what's inside YOUR head that counts, isn't it?
