BELLADRUM TARTAN HEART FESTIVAL

WELLIEDRUM - BUT WHAT A VIBE!

For meteorological reasons, we didn't ask Travis to play Belladrum (it always rains on them). OK, so it horsed it down anyway, and we might as well have issued the invitation. But nothing could dampen 7,000 happy festival spirits. If you were there, thank you for coming - you made Bella the beautiful occasion it was. She'll be back next year on 11/12th August. We hope we'll see you there. And we’ll try Mungo Jerry for next year’s weather.
In the mean time, EXIST have donated a free download 'Paper Monkey' to the web site for all those who were disappointed when the band's CDs ran out at the fest. Download it at www.tartanheartfestival.co.uk

HOW WAS IT FOR YOU?

Please take a moment to fill in the feedback form on the festival web site www.tartanheartfestival.co.uk. Knowing how it was for you helps us to keep giving Bella those nips and tucks that enhance her attractions still further. And send us your pix for the picture gallery on the web site (see the left hand bar).

SEEING THE GREEN LIGHT

The Trashcan Sinatras set on the Hothouse Stage was anything but rubbish, but oh boy, the clear-up task everywhere else. It was largely our fault for underestimating the number of bins needed. Apart from addressing that in 2006, Bella will also go green. Following the example of some other festivals in the UK, we will be asking festival goers to separate out different types of rubbish for recycling. More anon. In the meantime, can anyone shed any light on what use 24 litres of tomato fertiliser were put to?

LOST & FOUND

It's amazing what you pick up in the mud (any impending post-festival engagement announcements? Let us know). A few credit cards, cameras and telephones have been found in various states of repair. All items of value found have been deposited with Beauly Police on 01463 782222
