TICKETS ON SALE 3RD MARCHDue to advance demand, tickets to Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival go on sale two months earlier than last year, at 9.00 AM on Friday 3rd March. Tickets will be available on-line and through retail outlets. Now in its third year, Belladrum takes place on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th August 2006. Weekend tickets cost £60 (plus booking fee and/or postage where applicable) and will be available via the web site www.tartanheartfestival.co.uk, Ticketmaster.com, Tickets Scotland (Edinburgh and Glasgow), Ripping Records, Eden Court and Hootenanny's (Inverness), and One-up Records (Aberdeen)from Friday. Tickets are only available in advance. A limited number of Saturday tickets at £40 will go on sale 9.00 AM Friday 16th June. Children 12 and under attend free - child tickets are limited to 3 per adult. If you intend to camp, we need to know which zone you prefer - general, family, quiet, camper & caravan or disabled. Parking is free but you will need a coloured parking pass to allow entry. Weekend tickets allow camping 4.00 PM 10th - 1.00 PM 13th August. |
ARLO GUTHRIE SLATED FOR BELLA Folk legend Arlo Guthrie is booked to play his first ever Scottish festival at Belladrum this year, also marking his first appearance in Scotland since 1999. Arlo will play the only Scottish date on his European tour at Belladrum where he follows in the shoes of fellow Woodstock legends, Country Joe MacDonald, who featured last year."The backstage restaurant for artists has been run by one Alice Laing and known as Alice's Restaurant for the past two years," said festival director Joe Gibbs, "Alice is with us again this year, so we're delighted Arlo can come and try it out for himself.' The rest of Bella's line-up will be announced over the next 8 weeks or so. |
EXIST PLAY NORTHERN DATES One of last year's runaway successes at Belladrum, EXIST, are playing two gigs in the Highlands in March, supported by winners of Bella's 05 talent trawl, Stereoglo from Isle of Skye: 22nd March, The Raigmore, Inverness (tickets 01463 221546); 25th March, BA Club, Fort William (tickets from Fired Art 01397 705005).
