"The Fringe" is back, bigger, better & "dare I say" more bodacious

The Tartan Heart Festival Fringe sets the mood in the run up to "Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival " 11 12 August in the first two weeks of August and features not only the best local musicians around but top artists from around the world too.
We are involving more venues more communities and more music.

Fringe highlights will include

  • Gigs in Inverness Aberdeen Glasgow Kirkcaldy Forres Lossiemouth Oban Thurso Ullapool Invershin Stornaway Fort William Glenrothes and more
  • The Garden Party Bar Be Q at The Maple Court Inverness in aid of  the stricken musicians of New Orleans  through the Tripitinas Foundation,
  • Big  (Lunch) Break new talent show cases  hosted by BBC broadcaster Tom Morton in Hootananny,
  • The Belladrum Grass Roots Stage and The Hot House Stage will take over  both floors of Hootananny + Festival Club till 3 am Wed 9th Thurs 10th,
  • The Market Bar will be rocking (some things never change), this year the Foundry Bar joins in the party, with a cutting edge Crucible stage.
  • Radio 1 will be in attendance and broadcasting The Guillemots from the famous Raigmore Motel.
  • There will be a Tartan Heart in the City with live music from the Town Centre Stage as part of Summer In The City  "City Jam"
  • We welcome Inverness's new 1000 capacity dedicated music venue The Iron Works to the fringe and to a grateful city
