TOPLOADER AND OTHERS JOIN THE ACTIONTOPLOADER AND OTHERS JOIN THE ACTION

Now with all the stage headliners announced, it gives us chance to get stuck into adding some acts that add the flavour to the Belladrum bill. Recently reformed million-sellers Toploader join the line-up, along with some slightly lesser known today, but stars of tomorrow. They include indie newcomers Little Comets and Official Secrets Act, ska with a twist from Kid British fresh from supporting recently reformed The Specials. And Glaswegian noisy popsters Dananananakroyd also join the mix. With more still to announce, Bella’s going to be a particularly fine vintage this year.

SWINGING SALAMI!SWINGING SALAMI!

This year's cabaret presentation in the Venus Flytrap features THE SWINGING SALAMI SHOWCASE SPECTACULAR! Showbiz darlings ranging from the weird and the wonderful, and from the sublime to the ridiculous, our cabaret lovelies will dazzle and delight... Le Gateau Chocolat, an exotic, operatic drag legend who will serenade you with his booming bass-baritone; Boogaloo Stu, this legendary bequiffed supastar presents a number of vignettes while encouraging audience members to participate in his hilarious Q&A gameshow; Fake Bush, the result of one woman experiment with a Kate Bush CD, a radio active microwave, lots of alcohol and a dressing up box; she is an affectionate comic salute to Kate Bush; Captain Kidd ; this sizzling hunk is riding the crest of the male burlesque movement, and promises to thrill with his magnificent physique and hoop-spinning talent; Miss Dolly Rocket; boobs, beauty and brains, this lady is one perfect showbiz package wrapped up in sequins, big hair and high-octane glamour; allow her honeyed vocals to soothe your soul (as her bullet bra takes your eye out). Team Mud! This unlikely crew of hod-carrying builders transform themselves into All-American cheerleaders to entertain; and The Sparklemotion Showponies, truly a Pan's People for the Noughties and harking back to the glory days of Summertime Specials, this troupe of showponies will bring a twinkle-toed touch of fancy footwork to the party.
