This year you can join Velocity on the VeloBella Cycling Bus and cycle to Belladrum!
See www.velocitylove.co.uk for all the details, departure times and what you will need. Velocity will help transport your luggage, join you on the ride and provide a healthy snack during the 11 mile cycle from Inverness. There will be Bike Parking at the Festival and Velocity will even help you keep your bike in tip top condition for the ride home!
Belladrum Festival is working with goCarShare to help people share car journeys.
It's a great way to save money if you are driving, or to head to the festival on the cheap if you need a lift. It'll help you cut your carbon, and as it is built around Facebook, you can find people who like the same music, or who have friends in common. Travelling by Car
Where to park:
If you decide to bring your own car, parking is free but you need one parking pass per vehicle to direct you to the parking zone nearest to where you are camping. Please help everyone by bringing a full complement of passengers.
General Zone - red – tents only
Family Zone - green – families in tents only
Quiet Zone - yellow – quiet persons in tents only - no music
Caravan & Camper Van Zone - blue – to access this zone, you also need to have bought a separate campervan/caravan parking pass @ £50* or campervan/caravan electrical hook-up and parking pass @ £130*; both are available through ticket agents
Disabled Zone – orange - cars, camper vans and tents
Day Visitors - striped
Arrival & Departure: Please stick to speed limit and obey stewards’ instructions. A one-way system will be in operation through the estate; please observe it. The earlier you arrive, the more likely you are to get your favourite camping spot. Please leave quietly. Do not drink and drive or take drugs and drive. Try to avoid unnecessary departures and re-entries to minimize traffic and avoid stress on the ground.
General: Please stick to 5 mph speed limit and obey stewards' instructions. Please try to avoid unnecessary departures and re-entries to parking areas to avoid stress on the ground, disturbance to neighbours and traffic congestion. Parking will be on a grass field so vehicles with low ground clearance will not be appropriate. If you get stuck, a free tow-out service will be available but you use this entirely at your own risk and no responsibility will be taken by the festival for damage to your vehicle. No camping is allowed in parking areas and no driving in campsites other than the disabled and campervan & caravan camp sites.
Taxis/ Drop offs/ Pick-ups: If you are arriving by taxi/ bus or being dropped off, you will be directed where to go. Pick-ups will be at the same point. Pedestrians should use the marked routes to make their way to ticket points. If you are being picked up, please pre-arrange a time your taxi or lift to collect you at the drop-off/pick-up point
Directions: Please click here for a map of the Belladrum area. To get to Belladrum, take the A862 West from Inverness towards Beauly. Approximately nine miles from Inverness, turn left onto the A833 signposted Kiltarlity and Drumnadrochit. After approximately one mile, turn left at the second gate lodge on the left on this road which has red gables and is signposted Belladrum (If you go as far as Brockie’s Lodge Hotel on the A833, you have overshot the turning) - you are now on the single track public road that runs through Belladrum Estate.
